Henry County Historical Society Committees

The Henry County Historical Society is still in the process of restructuring its committees. Currently, there are eight committees, but the Governing and Nominating Committees are active only on an ad hoc basis, and for short periods of time.

Responsible for all aspects of the care and maintenance of these two facilities, as well as scheduling and running special events.
One-room School House Jean Keller Responsible for all aspects of the care and maintenance of the school house, as well as scheduling and running special events.
Log Cabin Peggy Johnson Responsible for all aspects of the care and maintenance of the log cabin, as well as scheduling and running special events.
Log Cabin Garden and Flowers Peggy Johnson Responsible for planting and maintaining the garden and having it ready for the Henry County Fair.
Education and Oral History Marlene Patterson
Outreach programs, and conducting interviews of people who live or have lived in Henry County, transcribing the interviews, and putting the transcriptions on the Society's web site
Finance Janice Knepley Yearly budget
