Preservation encompasses the collection, cataloging, preserving, and displaying of historic artifacts that have been donated to, or purchased by, the Henry County Historical Society. Preservation is under the auspices of the Preservation Committee, but it is, in fact, the responsibility of all Society members to pitch in and help in this important endeavor.

The Preservation Committee currently meets on Mondays at 9:00 am at the Bloomfield Home, and we use this time to catalog our new acquisitions.

For more information on how you can help, please contact Judi Cotter, Preservation Committee, Chair: .

The Preservation Committee is also working on interviewing residents of Henry County. Release your stories to us! If you are interested in sharing or know someone who you think would like to be interviewed, please contact Marlene Patterson of the Preservation Committee: .

Help us preserve the past for the present and the future!
